design brief and specification

10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.
Formulate a Design Specification
I will be making a video about The MYP design cycle. I will explain it to the 6th graders.
11. What are the requirements for this assignment? 
I will have to explain the MYP design cycle.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?
I have to follow step by step, by what the teacher is posting.
13. How will you "test" your project?
I will have to survey at least 3 students.
DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS

  • Teach a 6th grader about MYP
  • Easy to understand
  • Teachable to others
  • Makes sense
  • Contain all of the steps
  • Able to understand all of the steps
  • Cant be too much writing
  • Summarize the steps

I will make a survey with some questions after the slideshow.




I will test 6 6th graders, and see how well they understood the slide show. From there i will find out if they understood the slide show .

The # i give for music is a 8, because in slide shows people would be interested in music.
Another reason why i pick music is because putting music in my slide can make it fun and make my project even better. Lastly i can put different music according to which slide it is

The # i give for theme is a 10 because there is only one theme. The theme is what your going to write about . What were writing about is the MYP design cycle.

The # i give for neatness is a 10, because i will be putting everything in order. I will be putting the MYP design cycle steps in order. Each step will have a slide.

The # i give for different font is a 10, because every slide will have different ones. I will put different fonts on each slide because it will make my slides more interesting. My slides will be more interesting.

The # i give for theme is a 10 because, there will only be one theme i will be talking about. My theme is the MYP design cycle. The design cycle is the theme of my slide show.

The # i give for colors is 10 because my slides will be so colorful. Each slide will have a  different color or even different colors. My slides will be colorful because that will attract people. I like being creative and colorful so thats why i want to have my slides colorful.

I decided to make a slideshow because i think the 6th graders can understand the MYP design cycle better with slides. I chose photobucket , show beyond & go animate. In photobucket you can get animations and put it in your slide. In smile box you can animate things on picture and many more things.
